Quick verdict: Legit. A genuine mobile rewards app that pays via PayPal and gift cards, available almost worldwide. Slow and ad heavy, but real.
What is CashKarma?
CashKarma is a mobile only GPT app (Android and iOS) from Darkfield Software LLC, a California company that also makes the long running AppKarma. You earn Karma Points for surveys, watching videos, playing games, completing offers, and a daily check in, then redeem them for cash or gift cards.
How you earn
Surveys are the biggest earner. Before you can take them, you answer a few short profile questionnaires to unlock the survey walls. Beyond surveys, there is a Playtime section that pays you to try games, plus video and offer rewards. Roughly 1,000 points equals $1.
Getting paid
Rewards come as PayPal cash or gift cards (Amazon and others) redeemed right inside the app, with a low minimum cashout. It is available globally with only a couple of country exceptions.
How much can you realistically make?
Regular users tend to report somewhere in the $30 to $80 a month range, and that is with consistent daily use. The pay per hour is on the low side, and the app runs a lot of ads.
Pros and cons
- Pros: legit operator with a track record via AppKarma; low cashout with PayPal and gift cards; earn from your phone anywhere; available in most countries.
- Cons: ad heavy interface; slow earner; the point system takes getting used to.
Is it worth it?
If you like the idea of tapping away at surveys and games on your phone during dead time, CashKarma is a legit, low commitment option. Treat it as casual pocket money.
